Guardian wins FSA newspaper of the year award for seventh time in a row

• Guardian wins supporters’ vote at rebranded awards
• Football Weekly and David Squires also nominated

The Guardian has been named newspaper of the year at the Football Supporters’ Association awards – winning the award for the seventh time in a row.

The FSA, formerly known as the Football Supporters’ Federation, represents match-going fans across the UK. The awards are voted for by more than 40,000 fans.
