Cardiff City v Burnley: match preview

It is a little early to be talking about must-win games but Cardiff are already straying close to that territory. The fixture list has been unkind to them, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City their past three opponents, but this is the sort of match that really has to be won. Burnley were in a similar position – chasing a first victory amid a bit of doom and gloom – until they thumped Bournemouth last Saturday. Steven Defour’s return from injury should give the visitors further encouragement. Stuart James
